2. Open the hood of your Saturn.
3. Locate the windshield wiper motor. It is usually located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the firewall.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor.
5. Remove the bolts that hold the windshield wiper motor in place.
6. Remove the windshield wiper motor from the vehicle.
7. Inspect the windshield wiper motor for damage. If the motor is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
8. If the motor is not damaged, clean the electrical contacts on the motor and the electrical connector.
9. Reinstall the windshield wiper motor in the vehicle.
10. Secure the windshield wiper motor with the bolts you removed earlier.
11. Reinsert the rubber bushings (optional, not all wiper motors have rubber bushings included as a part of the assembly).
12. Reattach the electrical connector to the windshield wiper motor.
13. Close the hood of your Saturn.
14. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position.
15. Test the windshield wipers to make sure they are working properly.
