Materials Needed:
- Replacement rear wiper blade
- Screwdriver
Steps:
1. Locate the Rear Wiper Arm: Open the rear hatch of your Highlander. The rear wiper arm will be located on the driver's side of the rear window.
2. Release the Wiper Arm: Pry up the small plastic cover at the base of the wiper arm. Underneath, you'll find a nut holding the wiper arm in place. Use a screwdriver to loosen and remove this nut.
3. Remove Old Wiper Blade: Once the nut is removed, you can lift the wiper arm up and away from the rear window. Grasp the old wiper blade and gently pull it out of the wiper arm.
4. Attach New Wiper Blade: Slide the replacement wiper blade into the wiper arm, making sure it snaps into place.
5. Reinstall Wiper Arm: Lower the wiper arm back into its original position and replace the nut you removed earlier. Tighten the nut securely.
6. Snap Cover Back in Place: Press down on the small plastic cover at the base of the wiper arm to snap it back into place.
7. Test Wiper: Close the rear hatch and test the new wiper blade by turning on the rear wiper. It should work properly.
