Instructions:
1. Prepare your vehicle. Park your car on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels but do not remove them completely.
2. Jack up your vehicle. Place the jack under the front of your car and raise it until the front wheels are off the ground. Secure the vehicle with jack stands.
3. Remove the wheels. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheels.
4. Remove the brake caliper. Use a socket wrench to remove the two bolts that hold the brake caliper in place. Then, remove the caliper and set it aside.
5. Remove the rotor. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the dust cap on the rotor. Then, remove the cotter pin and castle nut that hold the rotor in place. Finally, pull the rotor off the wheel hub.
6. Remove the old wheel bearings. Use a bearing puller to remove the old wheel bearings from the wheel hub. Be careful not to damage the hub.
7. Install the new wheel bearings. Apply a thin layer of grease to the new wheel bearings and then press them into the wheel hub. Make sure they are seated properly.
8. Reinstall the rotor, brake caliper, and wheel. Reinstall the rotor, brake caliper, and wheel in the same order that you removed them.
9. Lower the vehicle. Slowly lower the vehicle until it is back on the ground. Remove the jack stands.
10. Test the wheel bearings. Take your vehicle for a test drive and listen for any unusual noises or vibrations. If you hear anything strange, stop driving and have the wheel bearings checked by a professional mechanic.
