How do you replace a rear deck brake light on 1992 es300 Lexus?

To replace the rear deck brake light on a 1992 ES300 Lexus, you will need:

- Phillips head screwdriver

- Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool

- New rear deck brake light

1.Locate the rear deck lid. Open it and locate the two Phillips head screws on the inside of the deck lid. These screws hold the brake light in place.

2.Remove those two screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.

3.Locate the two retaining clips on the bottom of the brake light. These clips can be removed with a flathead screwdriver or a trim removal tool.

4.Once the retaining clips are removed, the brake light can be removed from the vehicle.

5.Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the brake light.

6.To install the new brake light, simply reverse the above steps.
