2. Remove the steering wheel. Turn the steering wheel so that the spokes are horizontal and remove the two bolts that hold the steering wheel in place. Use a steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel.
3. Remove the ignition switch bezel. There are two screws located on the top and bottom of the ignition switch bezel. Remove these screws and pry the bezel off with a flat-head screwdriver.
4. Disconnect the ignition switch wires. There are two connectors that plug into the ignition switch. Disconnect these connectors.
5. Remove the ignition switch. Place a flat-head screwdriver in the small slot located at the bottom of the ignition switch and pry it out. The ignition switch will come out of the dash.
6. Install the new ignition switch. Insert the new ignition switch into the dash and turn the key to the ``ON'' position. If the switch works properly, secure it in place with the flat-head screwdriver.
7. Reconnect the ignition switch wires. Connect the two connectors that you disconnected in step 3.
7. Replace the ignition switch bezel. Snap the ignition switch bezel into place and secure it with the two screws.
8. Replace the steering wheel. Place the steering wheel on the steering column and secure it with the two bolts.
9. Reconnect the battery. Attach the negative terminal cable to the negative terminal on the battery and secure it with the nut or bolt.
