Tools and Materials Needed
* New windshield washer hose (available at most auto parts stores)
* Pliers
* Flat-head screwdriver
* Funnel
* Windshield washer fluid
Instructions
1. Park your car in a safe location, and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It is usually a clear plastic container located near the front of the car, on the driver's side.
4. Remove the cap of the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
5. Use the funnel to add windshield washer fluid to the reservoir, until it is full.
6. Replace the cap of the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
7. Locate the windshield washer hose. It is a small, black hose that runs from the reservoir to the windshield washer nozzles.
8. Use the pliers to pinch the clamp that holds the windshield washer hose in place.
9. Pull the windshield washer hose off of the nipple.
10. Discard the old windshield washer hose.
11. Slide the new windshield washer hose onto the nipple.
12. Use the pliers to pinch the clamp that holds the windshield washer hose in place.
13. Close the hood of your car.
14. Start the engine and turn on the windshield washers. Make sure that the new hose is working properly.
Tips
* If you are having trouble removing the old windshield washer hose, you can use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it off.
* Be careful not to spill any windshield washer fluid on your car's paint.
* If you do spill any windshield washer fluid, rinse it off with water immediately.
