Here's what you'll need:
- Flat-blade screwdriver
- Replacement turn signal bulb (Amber)
- Jack stands or ramps (if desired)
Here are the steps on how to replace the bulb:
1. If lifting your car be sure to properly position your jack stands or ramps before continuing for safety.
3. Once you are ready, reach down and look at the back of the tail light assembly. You'll see a small access cover, turn it counterclockwise until it comes free.
4. Behind the access door is the turn signal bulb. It is held in place by a small metal clip. To remove the bulb, gently push the clip inward with a flat-blade screwdriver. You may need to put a bit of pressure on the clip. Once the clip is disengaged, turn the bulb counterclockwise and pull it out of the socket.
5. Inspect the old bulb for any damage or corrosion. If the bulb is damaged, replace it with a new one.
6. To install the new bulb, simply insert it into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure. Make sure that the clip is engaged properly.
7. Replace the access cover and you're all done!
