How do you remove front rotors on a 2000 Honda Passport?

Tools Needed:

- Jack and jack stands

- 19mm socket

- Ratchet

- Breaker bar

- C-clamp or large pliers

Instructions:

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.

2. Chock the rear wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.

3. Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on jack stands.

4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the front wheels.

5. Locate the two brake caliper bolts on the back of the caliper.

6. Use the 19mm socket and ratchet to loosen the bolts.

7. Once the bolts are loose, use the breaker bar to break them free.

8. Remove the bolts and take off the caliper.

9. Hang the caliper out of the way with a piece of wire or bungee cord.

10. Locate the two rotor bolts on the back of the rotor.

11. Use the 19mm socket and ratchet to loosen the bolts.

12. Once the bolts are loose, use the breaker bar to break them free.

13. Remove the bolts and take off the rotor.

14. If the rotor is stuck, you may need to use a C-clamp or large pliers to pry it off.

15. Inspect the rotor for wear or damage and replace it if necessary.

16. Reinstall the rotor and caliper in the reverse order of removal.

17. Tighten the caliper bolts to 25 ft-lbs.

18. Tighten the rotor bolts to 80 ft-lbs.

19. Reinstall the wheels and lug nuts.

20. Lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
