Method 1 (Without Scan Tool)
1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the trip reset button on the instrument cluster.
3. While holding the trip reset button, turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
4. Continue to hold the trip reset button for an additional 10 seconds.
5. Release the trip reset button.
6. Start the engine.
Method 2 (With Scan Tool)
1. Connect the scan tool to the vehicle's diagnostic port.
2. Turn on the scan tool.
3. Select the "Service" or "Maintenance" menu.
4. Select the "Oil Reset" or "Oil Light Reset" option.
5. Follow the prompts on the scan tool to complete the oil light reset procedure.
Note: If neither of these methods works, you may need to consult a professional mechanic to reset the oil light.
