Instructions:
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Open the hood and locate the alternator belt.
4. Loosen the tensioner pulley bolt using the socket wrench and ratchet.
5. Slide the flat-head screwdriver between the belt and the tensioner pulley.
6. Pry the belt off of the tensioner pulley.
7. Remove the belt from the other pulleys.
8. Install the new belt by reversing the steps above.
9. Adjust the tensioner pulley bolt until the belt is tight but not too tight.
9. Tighten the tensioner pulley bolt.
10. Start the engine and check the belt for proper operation.
Tips:
* Be careful not to drop the alternator bolt or tensioner pulley bolt into the engine bay.
* If the belt is too tight, it can damage the alternator and water pump.
* If the belt is too loose, it can slip and cause the engine to overheat.
