How do you replace the oil filter housing gasket in a 1994 Lincoln mark viii?

- oil filter

-oil filter housing gasket

-oil drain pan,

-funnel, socket wrench

2. Prepare your car.

Park on a level surface, turn off the engine , set the parking brake .

3. Locate the oil pan.

-Look for a pan that hangs between the wheels

4. Drain the oil

Loosen the oil plug using a socket wrench, the oil should start to drain into the pan

_Allow all the oil to drain thoroughly before attempting to lift _

5. Change the filter

-Using the supplied tools loosen then hand screw

6. Refill the oil..

- Check the oil level to make sure you aren't under or overfilled

7. Start the engine

Let it run for a couple of minutes . Check for leaks, turn off the engine and inspect
