Instructions:
1. Park the truck on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and chock the wheels.
2. Remove the tailgate.
3. Disconnect the electrical connections to the taillights and license plate light.
4. Remove the bolts that secure the bedside to the frame and cab.
5. Carefully remove the old bedside.
6. Position the new bedside in place and secure it with the bolts you removed in step 4.
7. Reconnect the electrical connections to the taillights and license plate light.
8. Reattach the tailgate.
9. Step back and admire your work!
Here are some additional tips:
- Be sure to measure carefully before cutting the new bedside to size.
- Use a level to make sure the new bedside is installed level.
- Tighten the bolts securely, but do not overtighten.
- If you are not comfortable performing this repair yourself, take it to a qualified mechanic.
