How do you remove door locks on a 72 Super Beetle?

To remove the door locks on a 72 Super Beetle, you will need the following tools:

* Phillips head screwdriver

* Flat head screwdriver

* 10mm wrench

* 5mm Allen wrench

Instructions:

1. Open the door and remove the two Phillips head screws holding the inner door handle in place.

2. Pry off the inner door handle with a flat head screwdriver.

3. Remove the 10mm bolt holding the lock cylinder in place.

4. Pull the lock cylinder out of the door.

5. Insert the 5mm Allen wrench into the set screw located on the door lock latch.

6. Turn the set screw counterclockwise to release the door lock latch.

7. Pull the door lock latch out of the door.

*Tip:* You may need to use a flashlight to see inside the door panel properly.
