How do you reset the rear brake pad indicator on a keyless ingition 2007 BMW x5?

Turn off the ignition and wait for the key symbol in the instrument cluster to illuminate.

1. Press the start/stop button once.

2. Press and hold the trip reset button on the left-hand side of the instrument cluster for 10 seconds.

3. The brake pad warning light will flash three times and then turn off.

4. Start the engine.
