1. Park the TRX 90 on a flat surface and put it in neutral.
2. Locate the chain adjuster bolts on the left side of the swingarm. There are two bolts: a front and a rear.
3. Use a 12mm wrench to loosen the front chain adjuster bolt.
4. Use a 14mm wrench to loosen the rear chain adjuster bolt.
5. Turn both bolts clockwise to tighten the chain. Tighten the bolts until the chain has about 1/2 inch of play between the swingarm and the rear sprocket.
6. Re-tighten the front and rear chain adjuster bolts to the specified torque. The specified torque is 14 ft-lbs.
7. Check the chain tension again and make sure it is correct.
8. If necessary, repeat steps 3-6 until the chain is properly tensioned.
Tips:
-It may be helpful to have someone hold the rear brake lever while you loosen and tighten the chain adjuster bolts.
-Be careful not to overtighten the chain, as this can cause the chain to break or the sprockets to become damaged.
-Check the chain tension regularly, especially after washing or riding in muddy conditions.
