(1) Every 10 hours or monthly, whichever comes first:
- Check engine oil level and add as needed.
- Clean air filter.
- Check carburetor fuel inlet (sedimenter cup) for water and dirt buildup.
- Inspect spark plug condition.
- Inspect drive chain tension and lubricate.
(2) Every 30 hours or 3 months, whichever comes first:
- Change engine oil.
- Inspect and adjust carburetor.
- Inspect and clean muffler and spark arrestor.
- Inspect suspension and lubricate as necessary.
- Check steering head bearing play.
(3) Every 60 hours or 6 months, whichever comes first:
- Perform all maintenance listed above.
- Replace spark plug.
- Inspect and replace timing chain.
- Inspect and lubricate clutch components.
- Check valve clearances and adjust if necessary.
- Inspect and clean fuel tank and fuel line.
(4) Every 120 hours or 12 months, whichever comes first:
- Perform all maintenance listed above.
- Inspect frame and subframe for cracks.
- Inspect swingarm and shock mountings for cracks.
- Inspect suspension fork seals for wear.
- Grease headstock and swingarm bearings.
