Oil change procedure for 2007 harley Davidson road glide?

Materials Needed:

* New oil filter (Harley-Davidson part number 63808-09)

* New oil (Harley-Davidson recommends Syn3 SAE 20W-50 oil)

* Oil drain pan

* Funnel

* Wrench

* Rags

Procedure:

1. Warm up the bike for a few minutes to get the oil flowing.

2. Turn off the bike and allow it to cool down for a few minutes.

3. Place the oil drain pan under the bike's oil drain plug.

4. Use the wrench to loosen the oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain into the pan.

5. Allow the oil to drain completely.

6. Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.

7. Remove the old oil filter using the wrench.

8. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.

9. Screw the new oil filter onto the bike's oil filter mount and tighten it securely.

10. Using the funnel, add new oil to the bike's oil tank.

11. Use the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

12. Run the bike for a few minutes and check for leaks.

Tips:

* Change the oil every 5,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first.

* Always use the correct type of oil recommended by Harley-Davidson.

* Be careful not to overfill the oil tank.
