1. Warm up your engine for a few minutes. Stop and wait for the hot engine to cool down until it is warm, but not hot to touch.
2. Place a suitable drain pan under the oil drain bolt on the bottom of your engine.
3. Remove the oil drain plug with an appropriate-size wrench. Let all of the oil drain into the pan.
4. If you have not already changed the washer (or your O ring has a leak) replace the oil drain plug washer if it is damaged or worn. If the washer looks fine, reinstall the oil drain plug.
5. Remove the oil screen and clean thoroughly.
6. Reinstall the oil screen.
7. Remove the oil reservoir cap.
8. Pour the correct amount of oil (0.7 liters) of SAE 10W-30 motor oil into the oil tank with funnel if necessary.
9. Replace the oil tank cap.
10. Start your engine to circulate the fresh oil and check the oil level.
11. Adjust the oil level if necessary.
