Note: For most E100 models there is no fuse so you will not be able to change it.
1. Power down the scooter.
Make sure the scooter is off and disconnected from the power outlet.
2. Locate the fuse cover.
On most E100 models, the fuse cover is located on the bottom of the deck of the scooter, near the rear wheel.
3. Remove the fuse cover.
Use a screwdriver or your fingernail to pry open the fuse cover.
4. Locate the fuse.
The fuse is a small cylindrical object, usually made of glass or ceramic. It will be located inside the fuse cover.
5. Remove the old fuse.
Use your fingers or tweezers to remove the old fuse from its holder.
6. Insert the new fuse.
Insert the new fuse into the fuse holder, making sure that the positive (+) end of the fuse is facing up.
7. Replace the fuse cover.
Replace the fuse cover, making sure that it is securely closed.
8. Test the scooter.
Connect the scooter to the power outlet and turn it on. If the scooter runs, then the fuse has been successfully changed.
Tip: If you do not have a spare fuse, you can use a piece of aluminum foil as a temporary replacement. To do this, cut a small piece of aluminum foil and fold it into a small rectangle. Then, insert the aluminum foil rectangle into the fuse holder, making sure that the positive (+) end of the foil is facing up. This should allow the scooter to run until you can purchase a replacement fuse.
