1) Remove the valve cover.
2) Rotate the crankshaft until the piston is at top dead center (TDC) of the compression stroke. This can be done by inserting a long screwdriver into the spark plug hole and turning the crankshaft until the piston reaches the highest point in the cylinder.
3) Loosen the two bolts that hold the camshaft sprocket in place.
4) Rotate the camshaft sprocket counterclockwise until the timing mark on the sprocket lines up with the timing mark on the cylinder head.
5) Tighten the two bolts that hold the camshaft sprocket in place.
6) Reinstall the valve cover.
