Follow these steps to adjust your clutch:
1. Park your motorcycle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the clutch cable adjustment nut on the right side of the motorcycle, near the front of the engine.
3. Loosen the locknut on the clutch cable adjustment nut using a 12mm wrench.
4. Turn the clutch cable adjustment nut clockwise to tighten the clutch cable or counterclockwise to loosen it using a 10mm wrench.
5. As you turn the clutch cable adjustment nut, check the clutch lever free play. The clutch lever should have about 1/8 of an inch of free play before it starts to engage the clutch.
6. Once the clutch lever free play is correct, hold the clutch cable adjustment nut in place with a 10mm wrench and tighten the locknut using a 12mm wrench.
7. Test the clutch by pulling in the clutch lever and shifting into first gear. The motorcycle should not move if the clutch adjustment is correct.
It is important to adjust the clutch properly. If the clutch is not adjusted properly, it can cause the motorcycle to slip or grab, which can be dangerous.
