1. Prepare the motorcycle. Park the motorcycle on a level surface and turn off the engine. If the motorcycle has a center stand, place it on the center stand. If the motorcycle does not have a center stand, use a motorcycle jack to support the front of the motorcycle.
2. Loosen the front axle pinch bolts. There are two pinch bolts located on the front axle, one on each side of the motorcycle. Use a wrench to loosen the pinch bolts until they are just loose enough to turn.
3. Align the front tire. Hold the front tire between your legs and gently push it forward or backward until it is aligned with the fork.
4. Tighten the front axle pinch bolts. Use the wrench to tighten the pinch bolts until they are snug.
5. Check the alignment. Double-check to make sure that the front tire is still aligned with the fork. If it is not, repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Secure the motorcycle. If you used a motorcycle jack to support the front of the motorcycle, lower the motorcycle off of the jack and remove it.
