Instructions:
1. Disconnect the Battery:
- For safety, disconnect the negative terminal (usually marked with a "-") of your motorcycle's battery. This will help prevent any electrical accidents.
2. Locate the Existing Flasher Relay:
- Refer to your motorcycle manual to find the location of the original flasher relay. It's typically situated under the seat or in the electrical compartment near the ignition.
3. Remove the Original Relay:
- Once you find the original relay, unplug it from its socket. Take note of the wiring connections and how the relay is positioned.
4. Prepare the Hazard Relay:
- Check your new hazard flasher relay to see if it has matching terminals for the original relay. If necessary, install the supplied fuses into the relay's fuse slots.
5. Connect the Relay:
- Match the wires on the new relay to the wires from the original relay, ensuring proper connections (usually done by color coding). Use wire strippers to expose wire ends and twist them together.
6. Secure Connections:
- Use electrical tape to secure the wire connections to prevent any short circuits or loose contacts.
7. Test the Hazard Flasher:
- Reconnect the battery terminal. Turn on the motorcycle's ignition and activate the hazard flasher switch. The hazard lights should flash as expected.
8. Securely Mount the Relay:
- Some hazard relays come with mounting brackets or screws. Choose a suitable location on the motorcycle to fix the new relay.
9. (Optional) Solder Connections:
- For better reliability and vibration resistance, you can optionally solder the wire connections instead of using electrical tape.
10. Test the Hazard Flashers Again:

11. Reassemble and Clean:

12. Reconnect the Battery:
