Disconnect the battery.
Use a wrench to loosen the four handlebar clamp bolts.
Slide the handlebars up or down to the desired position.
Tighten the four handlebar clamp bolts.
Reconnect the battery.
Here are some additional tips:
When loosening the clamp bolts, be sure to only loosen them enough so that the handlebars can move; avoid removing them completely.
If the handlebars are difficult to move, you can try using a rubber mallet to gently tap them into place.
Be sure to tighten the clamp bolts securely before riding your motorcycle.
