1. Ensure that the motorcycle is parked on a flat, level surface.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Locate the primary case drain plug. It is a 3/4-inch bolt located on the bottom of the primary case, near the front.
4. Place an oil pan under the drain plug to catch the draining oil.
5. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the drain plug.
6. Allow the oil to drain completely into the pan.
7. Reinstall the drain plug and tighten it securely.
8. Dispose of the old oil properly.
