1. Open the airbox. The airbox is located on the left side of the motorcycle, just behind the fuel tank. It is held in place by two screws. Remove the screws and lift the airbox cover off.
2. Remove the old air filter. The air filter is a foam element that is located inside the airbox. Simply pull it out.
3. Inspect the air filter. Check the air filter for any dirt or damage. If the air filter is dirty, it should be cleaned or replaced.
4. Install the new air filter. Insert the new air filter into the airbox. Make sure that it is seated properly.
5. Close the airbox. Put the airbox cover back on and replace the screws.
