1. Open the hood of the vehicle.
2. Locate the brake pedal.
3. Follow the brake pedal linkage up to the brake switch.
4. The brake switch is located near the top of the brake pedal linkage, just below the master cylinder.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake switch.
6. Remove the two bolts that hold the brake switch in place.
7. Remove the brake switch from the vehicle.
