How do you replace there rear door Ajar sensor on a 2003 VW Jetta?

1. Locate the rear door ajar sensor. The sensor is located on the inside of the door, near the door latch. It is a small, black plastic switch with a wire connector.

2. Disconnect the wire connector from the sensor.

3. Unscrew the two screws that hold the sensor in place.

4. Pull the sensor out of the door.

5. Install the new sensor.

6. Hand tighten the two screws.

7. Connect the wire connector to the sensor.

8. Test the sensor.
