1) Press the unlock button on the key fob twice within five seconds of the alarm sounding.
- Note that the alarm may continue to sound for about 10 seconds after you successfully disarm it.
2) Turn the ignition to the on position within 15 seconds of disarming the alarm by pressing unlock twice.
To re-arm the factory car alarm and set the motion sensor after having been triggered:
1) Press and hold the lock button on the key fob for 3 seconds until the turn signals flash two times.
2) All doors and the trunk should be closed to activate the alarm system properly.
