Instructions
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the derby cover.
3. Remove the primary cover.
4. Remove the stator bolts.
5. Remove the stator from the motorcycle.
6. Inspect the stator gasket and replace it if necessary.
7. Apply a thin layer of threadlocker to the stator bolts.
8. Install the new stator.
9. Torque the stator bolts to 15 ft-lb.
10. Replace the primary cover.
11. Replace the derby cover.
12. Reconnect the battery.
Tips
* Be careful not to drop the stator.
* If you are using an impact gun, be careful not to over-tighten the stator bolts.
* Make sure that the stator gasket is properly seated.
* Check the stator bolts for tightness after 100 miles.
