Instructions:
1. Preparation:
- Turn off the engine and ensure that the parking brake is engaged.
- Locate the rear wiper arm with the attached wiper blade.
2. Release the Current Blade:
- Press the release button or tab (usually located near the base of the wiper arm).
- This disengages the current wiper blade from the arm.
3. Remove the Old Blade:
- Gently pull the old wiper blade away from the arm until it comes off completely.
4. Clean the Arm (Optional):
- Use a clean cloth or paper towels to wipe the wiper arm to remove any dirt or debris.
5. Install New Blade:
- Align the hook or attachment mechanism of the new wiper blade with the corresponding connection point on the wiper arm.
- Press down firmly until you hear a click or feel it snap into place.
- Ensure the blade is securely attached to the arm.
6. Test the Wiper:
- Turn on the rear wiper and check that it moves smoothly across the rear window without any skipping or chattering.
7. Stow the Wiper Arm (if applicable):
- If your Mini Cooper has a stowable wiper arm, gently fold it back down onto the rear window to its resting position.
