1. Locate the key release button on the back of the key fob. It is usually a small, round button with an arrow pointing away from it.
2. Press the key release button and pull the key out of the fob.
3. Flip the key fob over so that the back is facing you.
4. You should see a small, black cover with a Renault logo on it. Use a small screwdriver or pry tool to gently pry the cover off.
5. Under the cover, you will find the battery. Use your fingernail or the tip of the screwdriver to gently lift the battery out of the fob.
6. Insert the new battery into the fob, making sure that the positive side is facing up.
7. Replace the black cover and snap it into place.
8. Insert the key back into the fob.
9. Test the key fob to make sure that it is working properly.
