Step 1: Turn on the ignition but don't start the engine.
Step 2: Press and hold down the reset button on the instrument cluster.
Step 3: Keep the button pressed for approximately 10 seconds, until the service indicator disappears.
Step 4: Release the button.
Note: In some Mercedes vehicles, the service indicator may not reset by simply pressing and holding a button. In these instances, you may need to use a diagnostic scanner or specialized software to reset the service indicator.
