1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on jack stands.
3. Locate the gearbox oil drain plug, which is usually located on the bottom of the gearbox housing.
4. Place an oil drain pan under the drain plug and remove the plug.
5. Allow the old oil to drain out completely.
6. Replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
7. Locate the gearbox oil filler plug, which is usually located on the top of the gearbox housing.
8. Remove the filler plug and insert a funnel.
9. Add the recommended amount of new oil to the gearbox, as specified in the vehicle's owner manual.
10. Replace the filler plug and tighten it securely.
11. Lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
