- A floor jack and jack stands
- A socket set
- A ratchet
- A pry bar
- A hammer
1.Park your car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2.Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel that you will be removing.
3.Raise the car using the floor jack and place jack stands under the car to support it.
4.Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
5.Pry the hubcap off of the wheel bearing.
6.Use the socket set and ratchet to remove the bolts that hold the wheel bearing assembly in place.
7.Pry the wheel bearing assembly out of the hub using the pry bar and hammer.
8.Clean the hub and bearing assembly thoroughly.
9.Inspect the wheel bearing for damage or wear. If the bearing is damaged or worn, replace it with a new one.
10.Reassemble the wheel bearing assembly in the reverse order of disassembly.
11.Tighten the bolts that hold the wheel bearing assembly in place to the specified torque.
12.Install the wheel and tighten the lug nuts.
13.Lower the car using the floor jack and remove the jack stands.
