3. Test drive the vehicle to ensure that the transmission shifts smoothly and properly.
Step 8: Reset the transmission adaptive values
1. Connect a scan tool to the vehicle's diagnostic port.
2. Access the transmission control module (TCM) menu.
3. Reset the transmission adaptive values.
