How do you change rear wiper arm on 2005 Toyota Highlander?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Pliers

- New rear wiper arm

- Replacement wiper blade (optional)

Instructions:

1. Locate the release tab on the wiper arm. It is usually a small, plastic tab located near the base of the arm, where it attaches to the vehicle.

2. Press the release tab and lift the wiper arm up. This will release the arm from the splined shaft on the vehicle's wiper motor.

3. Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm. To do this, use a flat-head screwdriver or your fingers to pry the wiper blade off of the arm.

4. Install the new wiper blade on the wiper arm. Make sure the blade is securely attached to the arm and that the rubber is facing the correct direction.

5. Reattach the wiper arm to the vehicle. Insert the splined end of the wiper arm into the wiper motor shaft and press down on the release tab until the arm is secure.

6. Test the wiper arm. Turn on the rear wiper and make sure it is working properly.

Additional Tips:

- If the wiper arm is rusted or corroded, you may need to use penetrating oil or WD-40 to loosen it.

- Be careful not to drop the wiper arm when removing or installing it.
