2. Remove the steering wheel cover.
3. Remove the steering wheel.
4. Remove the ignition switch shroud.
5. Remove the ignition switch.
6. Install the new ignition switch.
7. Install the ignition switch shroud.
8. Install the steering wheel.
9. Install the steering wheel cover.
10. Reconnect the battery.
Here are some additional tips:
- Be sure to disconnect the battery before starting any work on the ignition switch.
- You will need a special tool to remove the steering wheel. This tool is called a steering wheel puller. If you do not have one, you can borrow it from an auto parts store or rent it from a tool rental store.
- Be careful not to damage the ignition switch when removing it.
