* 10 mm socket and wrench
* Battery terminal brush
* Battery anti-corrosion spray
Instructions:
1. Park the car in a safe place and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of the car.
3. Locate the battery.
- The battery is located beneath the rear seat of the car, in the corner of the trunk
- It is held in place by a plastic clamp
4. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
- The negative terminal is marked with a minus sign (-) and is usually black.
5. Disconnect the positive terminal of the battery.
- The positive terminal is marked with a plus sign (+) and is usually red.
6. Remove the battery clamp.
7. Lift the old battery out of the car.
8. Place the new battery in the car.
9. Replace the battery clamp.
10. Connect the positive terminal of the battery.
11. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
12. Close the hood of the car and start the engine.
13. Clean the battery terminals with a battery terminal brush and apply battery anti-corrosion spray to prevent corrosion.
Tips:
- Be careful not to touch the positive and negative terminals of the battery together, as this could cause a spark and start a fire.
- If the battery is leaking, wear gloves and eye protection to avoid contact with the acid.
- When installing the new battery, make sure that the terminals are securely tightened to prevent them from coming loose and causing a fire.
