Parts Required:
- New rear exhaust mounting bracket
- 2 x M10 nuts
- 2 x M10 washers
- Ratchet
- Extension bar
- 13 mm socket
- New exhaust mounting bracket
Instructions:
1. Park your car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Crawl underneath the car and locate the old exhaust mounting bracket. It is located on the passenger side of the car, just below the rear axle.
3. Use a ratchet and extension bar with a 13 mm socket to remove the two nuts that hold the old mounting bracket in place.
4. Remove the old exhaust mounting bracket.
5. Install the new exhaust mounting bracket in place.
6. Replace the two nuts that you removed in step 3, and tighten them until they are snug.
7. Crawl out from under the car and you're finished.
Tips:
- If the old exhaust mounting bracket is rusted or corroded, you may need to use a wire brush to clean it before you can remove it.
- Be careful not to drop the nuts or washers when you are removing the old exhaust mounting bracket.
