1. Make sure the vehicle is turned off and the ignition key is out of the ignition.
2. Locate the air bag reset switch. This switch is usually located on the passenger side of the vehicle, under the dashboard.
3. Press and hold the air bag reset switch for at least 10 seconds.
4. Release the air bag reset switch and turn on the ignition.
5. The air bag light should now be reset and turned off.
If these steps do not work or the air bag light remains on, it may indicate that there is a problem with the air bag system and it should be inspected by a qualified mechanic.
