How do you change the fuel filter on a peugeot 206?

Tools and materials needed:

- New fuel filter (check your owner's manual for the correct part number)

- Fuel filter wrench (optional)

- Container for catching spilled fuel

- Rags or paper towels

- Safety goggles

Instructions:

1. Park the car in a well-ventilated area and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down if it has been running.

2. Locate the fuel filter. The fuel filter on the Peugeot 206 is located under the car, near the fuel tank. It is attached to the fuel line by two hose clamps.

3. Place a container under the fuel filter to catch any spilled fuel.

4. Use a fuel filter wrench or pliers to loosen the hose clamps that hold the fuel filter in place. Be careful not to drop the hose clamps into the container of spilled fuel.

5. Remove the old fuel filter from the fuel line. Pull it straight out of the hose connections. Some fuel may spill out, so be prepared to catch it with your container.

6. Insert the new fuel filter into the fuel line. Make sure that the arrows on the filter point in the direction of fuel flow (usually towards the engine).

7. Reinstall and tighten the hose clamps using a fuel filter wrench or pliers.

8. Start the engine and check for leaks. Look for any fuel leaking from the fuel filter or hose connections. If you see any leaks, tighten the hose clamps until the leak stops.

Note:

* You may need to clean any dirt or debris from the area around the fuel filter before you loosen the hose clamps.

* Be careful not to pinch or damage the fuel line when you loosen and tighten the hose clamps.
