1. Park your car on a level surface.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the hood of your car.
4. Locate the air conditioning evaporator housing. It is usually located on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
5. Look for a small, black hose that comes out of the bottom of the evaporator housing. This is the ac drain hose.
6. Follow the ac drain hose to where it exits the car. It usually exits near the firewall on the passenger side.
7. The end of the ac drain hose may be covered with a rubber cap. Remove the cap to allow the water to drain out.
Note: If the ac drain hose is clogged, it can cause the air conditioner to not work properly. If you think the ac drain hose is clogged, you should have it cleaned by a qualified mechanic.
