2. Pull the release lever to open the bonnet. If the lever doesn't work, turn the key in the ignition to make sure the bonnet is unlocked.
3. Once the bonnet is open, locate the bonnet catch. It's usually located on the inside of the bonnet, near the front.
4. Press the bonnet catch to release it. If the catch is stuck, you can try using a screwdriver to pry it open.
5. Close the bonnet and make sure it's latched properly. If it's not latched properly, it could fly open while driving, which could cause an accident.
6. Test the bonnet release lever to make sure it's working properly. If it's not, you may need to have your car repaired.
