Instructions:
1. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Raise the car using the jack and jack stands.
4. Remove the serpentine belt.
5. Remove the power steering pump pulley.
6. Remove the alternator mounting bracket.
7. Remove the alternator from the car.
8. Disconnect the electrical connections from the alternator, making note of where each one goes for when you reinstall the alternator.
9. Install the new alternator in reverse order of removal, making sure to reinstall the serpentine belt, power steering pump pulley, and alternator mounting bracket.
10. Start the car and check for proper charging system operation.
