1. Park the truck on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Raise the rear of the truck with a floor jack and jack stands.
4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the rear wheels.
5. Remove the brake drum by removing the lug nuts.
6. Inspect the brake shoes and hardware for wear or damage.
7. Replace any worn or damaged brake shoes or hardware.
8. Install the new brake drum and tighten the lug nuts.
9. Lower the truck and remove the jack stands.
10. Test the brakes by applying the brake pedal.
