1. Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels.
2. Locate the spare tire, which is mounted under the bed of the truck.
3. Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the spare tire.
4. Once the lug nuts are loosened, use the jack to raise the truck until the spare tire is off the ground.
5. Remove the lug nuts and take off the spare tire.
6. Lower the truck.
7. Store the spare tire and lug nuts in a safe place.
