_Fuel Pump Reset_
Here is a step-by-step guide to reset the fuel pump on a 2004 Cadillac Catera:
1. Turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the "Fuel Reset" button for 5 seconds. The button is located on the driver's side kick panel.
3. Release the button and wait for the fuel pump to reset. The fuel pump will make a buzzing noise when it is resetting.
4. Start the engine. The engine should now run normally.
If the fuel pump does not reset, you may need to replace the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay is located in the fuse box under the hood. To replace the fuel pump relay, simply pull out the old relay and insert the new relay.
