1. Gather your tools.
You will need a new set of wipers, a ratchet with a 10mm socket, and a flat-head screwdriver.
2. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
Make sure the wipers are in the "off" position.
3. Locate the wiper blades.
The wiper blades are located on the front of the car, just above the windshield.
4. Remove the old wiper blades.
To remove the old wiper blades, use the ratchet with the 10mm socket to loosen the bolts that hold the blades in place. Once the bolts are loose, you can pull the wiper blades off of the wiper arms.
