- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- 10mm socket wrench
- 8mm socket wrench
- 1/4 inch ratchet
- #2 Phillips head drill bit
- #10 self tapping screw
1. Open the door.
2. Locate the two bolts on the inside of the door that hold the door handle in place. One is located below the door handle, and the other is located above it.
3. Use the 10mm socket wrench to loosen the bolt below the door handle, and then remove it.
4. Use the 8mm socket wrench to loosen the bolt above the door handle, and then remove it.
5. Use the flat head screwdriver to pry off the door handle cover.
6. Use the #2 Phillips head drill bit to drill a hole through the door handle in the location where the #10 self tapping screw will be installed.
7. Screw in the #10 self tapping screw.
8. Replace the door handle cover.
9. Reinstall the two bolts that you removed earlier.
10. Close the door and check to make sure that the door handle is properly attached.
